NEW Studio is coming…
It’s been a long time coming! I have a new studio opening in April and I couldn’t be more thrilled!
Last year, I told my little boy, Grey, that my goal for 2021 was to have my own studio. I had been hiring out two separate locations on an irregular basis while also seeing brides at my own home for their bridal trials. With a job that requires me to travel while also having two studios not including my own home studio, it really felt like I was running in every direction.
My goal was to have this new studio by the end of 2021. However, once I set my mind on something, I go running towards that goal, as hard as I can. So I started searching for my own treatment room to hire, but wasn’t coming up with anything special. I then changed my search to office spaces. I looked around for a while but everything felt so stuffy and not quite what I was after. I wanted a space that I could not only hold bridal trials in but also all of my lovely beauty treatments and well, nothing was ticking all of the boxes.
That was, until one day, I happened upon an office building on 8 Thorpe Road, Norwich - which had space available. I’m still learning my way around Norwich so when Sarah, who owns 8 Thorpe Road, along with her husband, got in touch…I was a little confused on the location. After having a brilliant chat and Sarah inviting myself and Grey to visit, I saw the building and instantly fell in love.
The room Sarah showed me was on the top floor, a complete blank canvas but ready to be equipped with anything and everything I needed. It has stunning views of the city and Norwich train station, has brilliant natural light for my bridal clients as well as my microblading clients. The studio was just perfect.
Within a few days, after carefully thinking about it, I knew this was the place for me!
I have spent the last month, tirelessly working on the room to make it an absolute haven for my clients and myself and it is very nearly there! I’ve got the colours up on the walls, furniture in, just a few more bits and bobs and I can show you the entire space!
